Catherine married George Jewers, son of John Henry Jewers and Sarah Hawbolt. (George Jewers was born on 29 Oct 1808 in Marie Joseph, Nova Scotia, christened on 18 Jun 1811 in Christ's Anglican Church, Guysborough, Nova Scotia, died on 31 Dec 1887 and was buried in Jan 1888 in Beaver Harbour Cemetery.)
