The source of this list of names can be found at the Nova Scotia Archives from a report that is listed at the Archives as MG27 Vol.1 No 287. The report also has reference numbers to more information on the people on the list. You can also find this list of names in the McAlpine's Halifax City Directory, Volume L and also in some newspapers.

These records can be found in the Nova Scotia Archives NSARM microfilm Nos. 15124-15126. Some victims of the Halifax explosion were transported to Truro but died of their injuries. Many others could have been transported to other towns where services and beds were available in the days following the explosion. In the next few pages you will find the names of the dead. For the other information, you would have to search the records from the Nova Scotia Archives on where these people were buried and other information.
